Ingredients for making the dough:

345 gr                      Flour

1 tsp                        Salt

2, 1/4 tsp                 Yeast

120 ml                     Water

60 ml                       Milk

40 gr                       Butter

3 tbsp                      Sugar

1 large                     Egg

Ingredients for making the mixture inside the rolls:

45 gr                       Soft butter

1 tbsp                      Cinnamon powder

50 gr                       Powdered sugar

+ You can also use whatever you want to put inside the rolls.

How to make:

1) For making the dough, first put aside 1/2 cup of flour. In a big bowl, mix the rest of flour with sugar, salt and yeast and put it aside.

2) Heat the water, milk and butter into microwave until butter is melted and the mixture is hot to touch. About 115 F (46 C). Stir the butter mixture into the flour mixture. Add the egg and only enough of the reserved flour to make a soft dough.

NOTE: The dough will only be ready when it gently pulls away from the side of the bowl and has an elastic consistencey.

3) On a lightly floured surface, knead the dough for about 3-4 minutes. Place it in a greesed bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes.

4) Make the filling: After 10 mins, roll the dough so you have a 35x20 rectangle. Spread the 45-gram melted butter on the whole surface of the dough and then sprinkle the mixture of cinnamon powder and sugar on it.

5) Roll up the dough from height tightly and the cut into 11-12 even pieces. Put the rolls in a round 22 centimeters gressed mold (it can have any other shape). Save some space between the rolls so they will have space when getting bigger.

6) Cover the mold with aluminum foil and put it in a warm place so they'll double in size for about 60-90 minutes. (You can heat the oven to 200F and then turn it off and then put the mold in).

7) After the rolls have doubled in size, preheat the oven to 375 F. Bake for 25-30 minutes until lightly browned. You can cover the rolls with aluminum foil after 15 minutes to avoid heavy browning.

+ It's better to enjoy the rolls the same day they were baked but they can stay fresh in room temp or in refrigrator for about 5 days.
